CEO and Company Founder, Karl Hindle Brings Digital Marketing Expertise to the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund Board
For Immediate Release: Frederick MD, July 11th, 2023 – techfrederick member, Wellspring Digital, is proud to announce that our Founder and CEO, Karl Hindle has accepted the invitation to serve on the board of the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund, a well-known and well-respected Frederick MD area non-profit.
“I am honored to be a part of this celebrated organization and look to make as positive a contribution as I can on the board.” said Karl Hindle, “After seeing and losing people close to me from breast cancer, I would love to see this scourge eradicated in my lifetime, and it’s organizations like the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Foundation that will help make this possible.”
Contributions from the Fund are helping save lives locally. Every dollar donated to the Fund is used for local direct patient care, and no administrative costs are taken from donations. Mr. Hindle will work with the board to improve and expand their digital marketing efforts to make an even greater impact in the Frederick community.

The Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund is a non-profit fund with a 501 (c)(3) status. Established in 1999, the Fund has raised over $3 million and every dollar of that amount has gone to support breast cancer detection and treatment locally.
About The Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund
The Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund was established in 1999 by Jeff and Patty Hurwitz, after Patty’s diagnosis of breast cancer. Because there was no comprehensive breast center in Frederick at that time, Patty had to travel to a major metropolitan area for her care and treatment. She and Jeff wanted to start a fund to bring the very best breast cancer treatment to Frederick residents. Believing that early diagnosis was the key to Patty’s successful outcome, the goal of the fund has been to provide the most innovative options in early detection and treatment of breast cancer to the Frederick community.
