What are the techfrederick Games?

techfrederick is a coalition of local high tech companies dedicated to connecting local professionals by providing advocacy, education, communication and networking opportunities. The purpose and spirit of the techfrederick Games is to build a stronger sense of Community and Comradery through fun, friendly Competition, where one team will, alas, Conquer! All while raising awareness of techfrederick and the participating companies.

In case you missed the 2024 games…

Through the support of 23 generous sponsors, techfrederick was able to host 34 teams of community professionals to compete in 10 events, with more than 250 participants, volunteers, and spectators were present!

In addition to bringing the tech community together, this year’s Tech Games supported a meaningful cause, raising over $2,500 for Butterfly Ridge Elementary School. We believe in giving as ferociously as we play!

All proceeds from our annual event go toward expanding techfrederick’s mission to provide capital, human resources and infrastructure within the Frederick high tech community.
