Patrick Pierson
Veterans of Foreign Wars
Patrick has served on the techfrederick Advisory Board since 2017. He brings years of experience with systems security, cloud technology, and community engagement from the military, government contracting, cybersecurity, and start-up industries to the techfrederick team. In addition to his volunteer role on the Advisory Board, Patrick is the Founder of the Amazon Web Services Frederick (AWS) Meetup group, and an IT Director at the Department of Maryland Veterans of Foreign Wars. In his day job Patrick works on Cloud Infrastructure.
Patrick has a background in Counterintelligence Operations for the U.S. Army and certifications on AWS for SysOps Associate, Business Professional, and Technical Professional.
