POSITION SUMMARY
ACDI is looking for an Administrative Assistant at the headquarter facility based in Frederick, MD. Successful candidates will support the administrative needs of the several departments including Human Resources, Sales, and Finance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
· Produce information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics
· Assist with scheduling activities, meetings and appointments
· Greet and assist customers and visitors as needed
· Prepare reports for HR, Sales and Finance by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends
· Provide historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems
· Assist with planning and executive of all HR sponsored employee events
· Assist with special projects for Senior Management and Sales Department
· Other duties assigned
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
· 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent position
· Proficient w/Excel & Outlook a MUST
· Attention to detail must be a true strength.
· Must be self-motivated, have a sense of urgency & be very comfortable communicating (asking questions, pro-actively reaching out, etc.)/
· Must be able to keep track & follow up workflow to ensure things continue to move forward/
· Must have strong data entry skills & the ability to learn new systems
· High School Diploma or GED is required
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
· Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college is preferred
