Recruitment marketing leader’s core values-driven company culture recognized by Inc. magazine for the fourth time

Frederick, Maryland – May 10, 2023 – techfrederick member, iHire, has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list for the fourth time. The list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture, whether operating in a physical or a virtual facility. iHire earned a Best Workplace score of 91 out of 100 and recorded a 97% employee engagement rate. Further, the most common word employees surveyed used to describe iHire’s work environment was “collaborative.”

After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 591 honorees this year. Each company that was nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, employee growth, and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking.

“iHire’s commitment to a people-first, values-driven culture helps associates to feel engaged and included no matter where they work,” said Lisa Shuster, iHire’s Chief People Officer. “Because we prioritize employee well-being and focus on growth and development, we are more creative, innovative, productive, and agile, allowing us to thrive in today’s competitive recruitment marketing space.”

A few examples of how iHire connects its hybrid workforce include sending new hires across the country a welcome box of branded “swag” and hosting virtual activities like costume contests and game shows with both remote and in-person staff. In addition, iHire puts its people first by prioritizing mental health and well-being. For instance, the company offers generous PTO, flex time, situational leave, telehealth services, an employee assistance program (EAP), wellness spending accounts, and more.

“Being named to Best Workplaces is an honor that only a small fraction of companies have been able to claim,” said Scott Omelianuk, Inc. Editor-in-chief. “Proving to the world that you’re a magnet for talent and have a culture that keeps teams engaged, productive, and proud to come to work is a truly remarkable achievement.”
